Course Overview:

Supervisors and managers are vital to achieving a safe and healthy workplace and are a crucial link between management and the workforce. 

They play an important role implementing the workplace safety and health management systems, as well as supporting the organisation’s safety culture. 

The WHS for Supervisors and Managers course is designed to provide participants with essential safety and health knowledge, to assist them in meeting their obligations as a supervisor/manager.

Mark Small – Trainer Bio

Mark is a highly experienced trainer beginning in 1987. He has been a trainer for Surf Life Saving, Master SCUBA Instructor, Maritime lecturer, Adjunct Lecturer for Edith Cowan University, WHS Trainer. Mark has worked as a trainer and assessor for a number of highly respected RTO’s. 

Mark is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute, Adjunct Lecturer with Edith Cowan University and an Exemplar Global certified Lead Auditor for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. He has worked in a variety of safety related roles and has more than 20 years of experience as a Safety Professional with extensive international and domestic experience as a trainer, investigator, advisor and auditor across several industries including petroleum, mining, rail, maritime, building and construction. 

*Course Cancellations:

Each course requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If enrolment numbers are below the required threshold, the course will be cancelled and, where possible, rescheduled. Registrants will be notified of the cancellation at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date via the email address provided at registration. A full refund will be issued to the original payment method (processing may take 2–3 business days), or a credit can be applied to the rescheduled course.
